ECT – Edge Crush Test
It is the force required for the crushing of flutes when pressure is applied in parallel to the flutes of the corrugated cardboard under standard atmosphere conditions. Its unit is kN/m
FCT -Flat Crush Test
It is the pressure required for the crushing of flutes when perpendicular pressure is applied to the surface of the corrugated cardboard under standard atmosphere conditions. With this test the flexibility, or in other words, impact absorbing resistance of the corrugated board is measured. Its unit is kPa.
BST-Bursting Strength Test
It is the pressure value required for the bursting of corrugated cardboard when a hydraulic pressure is applied under atmosphere conditions. Provides data on the endurance strength of corrugated cardboard against local strain. Its unit is kgf/cm².

BCT -Box Compression Test
This test is used for determining the resistance of an empty box against perpendicular crushing. The result of this test provides us data on the crush resistance of boxes piled-up. Its unit is kgf.
